What is a duty pharmacy?
An establishment open outside regular hours (nights, Sundays, public holidays) to ensure the continuity of pharmaceutical services. On-call pharmacies are assigned based on a rotating schedule organized by local health authorities. They provide access to emergency medications, therapeutic advice, emergency contraception, and essential medical supplies outside standard opening hours (usually 8 AM to 8 PM).

On-call pharmacy hours vary depending on the type of duty and local regulations, but in general, it is the pharmacist who enters their pharmacy information and duty schedule.
Real-time status
The status (open/closed) is automatically calculated based on current time. If you are within the duty time range (e.g., duty 8 AM-8 PM and it's 10 AM), the pharmacy displays as "open". Outside this time range, it automatically becomes "closed".
